Those who enjoyed the American Pie series would probably like this third official film which stars and reunites the same characters from its original 1999 title. This time, the comedy film deals with what life is like after all the fun, curiosity, and mishaps of high school. A reunion film of the characters you loved or hate from the series.
I like it when films try to continue the story with the same characters only getting older, smarter and more mature. This was what Toy Story 3 did, and now its American Pie's turn to do so. The film reunites the raunchy high school seniors of East Great Falls. All grown up and have "established" themselves, what further adventures and realization will these "grownups" have in this film. One thing is sure, it is the same raunchy fun that the series was known for.

So another film adapted from the a novel which feature a Gothic theme, teenagers, and vampires. Hopefully it is more to THAT other popular yet horrendous teenage vampire flick. Well the mystery in this trailer (and probably on the actual film itself) is probably the film's selling point. Categorized under horror, we can guarantee that there is a supernatural force providing the scares in the film, but is it really that goth girl who's behind all of this? That is the question.
The trailer tells what the plot is all about but effectively teases us with the question is Ernessa a vampire or not? What is her part in all of the mysterious events that appears in the film (trailer)? Not really hyped up with this, but if you are into this teenage vampire stuff, mystery and some "handsome" characters, then this film might be for you.

Sound of Noise Trailer was a 2010 Swedish-French comedy-crime film written and directed by Ola Simonsson and Johannes Stjärne Nilsson which premiered on International Critic's Week of the 63rd Cannes Film Festival back in May 18, 2010. Sound of Noise, a film that tells the story of a group of musicians who illegally perform music on objects in the various institutions of a city will finally have a 2012 international film release. Let's check out what this film has to offer here.
Sound of Noise Trailer Plot / Synopsis
The narrative revolves around police officer Amadeus Warnebring, tone-deaf scion of a distinguished musical family, and his attempts to track down a group of six guerilla percussionists whose anarchic public performances are terrorizing the city. The drumming set pieces correspond to an avant-garde score with four hilariously titled movements. Where the short involved the six drummers imaginatively using standard apartment furnishings as their instruments, the feature unleashes them on an unspecified city's civic and cultural institutions. Including an amusing backstory for each of the soberly dressed drummers as well as their nemesis, music-hating investigator Warnebring, the film creates a treat for the eyes and ears from the dull, repetitive sounds of everyday life.

I am not a big music fan myself but I find the trailer for the Sound of Noise to be fresh and interesting. This film intrigues me as the protagonists of the film dared to defy the convention, to exercise their definition of the highest form of musical art. I haven't seen this unique mixed of crime, comedy and music, and I think Sound of Noise will be the first I'll ever see one put into film.
Not everyone has the opportunity to watch international films, or even know that a good one has been released. Now thanks to the internet, we now are able so. I personally don't know a thing about this, not until now as I do this post and I can say I am pretty much intrigued on this cat-and-mouse musical film. I laughed a bit on how they made music on that poor patient, but we all know that what they are doing is potentially acts of crime (if not terrorism). But when a film makes one forget that what they are doing is wrong and makes you cheer for them, it has to mean that the film is doing something good, right? I don't mind reading subtitles and I don't think it doesn't take away from the film.

A film set in the 1980's and the film stands to it. The Beyond The Black Rainbow film trailer is one of those trailers that will make you ask yourself "What the hell did I just watch?".
Do not have high hopes on this film, as it received mostly negative reviews for its unorthodox phasing, use of visuals and story telling. In my honest opinion, Beyond The Black Rainbow is a title that falls under the artsy-fartsy style of film making. Hopefully this is not just a film that only cinephiles of an extreme level could understand and appreciate.

Hollowface will come because someone called his name. So that is what will generally happen with 2012 horror film. The big mystery here is to whether Hollowface got freed or targeting his victims because he was written by the child protagonist, or was the female protagonist has this connection to Hollowface to know how it works?
I am personally intrigued at what this film has to offer. Besides the usual scares, I am conscious about the lore behind this Hollowface. Why entitled "intruders" when a figure like Hollowface is the one only shown in this film? How will mere humans fight off this seemingly supernatural evil, or is it really supernatural? Hopefully it is not too predictable and has a solid story and scares from beginning to end.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is 2012 supernatural thriller film based on a 2010 novel Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith. This "what if" fictional supernatural horror film adaptation of the mashup novel gained mixed reviews back on 2010. The film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith which is slated for a June 2012 theatrical release plays with the idea that the historical American icon and 16th President of the United States was a vampire hunter. Let's take a look at this seemingly crazy idea of a book adapted to a 2012 film here.
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter Plot / Synopsis
President Lincoln's mother is killed by a supernatural creature, which fuels his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is directed by Timur Bekmambetov, screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith and is produced by Bekmambetov and Tim Burton. The film stars Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell and Dominic Cooper and is distributed by 20th Century Fox.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has a pretty interesting yet crazy theme. Hopefully Americans won't take this film too seriously in a sense that they would find it insulting to see the country's greatest historical icon behind the abolition of slave trade and a symbol of equality as a vampire hunter.
I personally think this is fresh. I like "what-if" scenarios done right. Reading the summary of the novel which already spoiled the film for me, all I can say is that amidst the film's seemingly absurd and preposterous concept, the film hopefully would be as entertaining as the novel it is based from. I am optimistic that this film will be a good one and will be putting this under my watch-list this 2012.

Sadako 3D is a 2012 Japanese horror film and fourth Japanese sequel to the very first Ring or Ringu back in 1998 adapted from the novel "Ring" by Koji Suzuki. Let's check out this fourth Japanese sequel to the popular Asian horror Ring series:
Sadako 3D Plot / Synopsis
14 years after the original Ring movie, Sadako returns to the big screen in 3D!

The footage is said to drive anyone who sees it to also commit suicide. We can't deny that nostalgia plays a big part in the success of a movie. Adaptations of an an iconic television show, book, or video game will usually bring out a feeling of excitement to those who grew up with such titles. The original Japanese Ring is probably one of the first Asian horror films that spook the living hell out of me as a kid which made me fell in love with it as a horror fan later on (the next film being Ju-on/Grudge). Knowing that Sadako 3D is a movie written by the original author of the nove Ring, this makes me more excited to see how will they creep out the fans who grew up with their Ring film series.
Ring's Sadako (Ringu) - 1998 Japanese horror film by Hideo Nakata.
I have read a couple of rumors regarding Sadako 3D: Mainly that the film is a spin-off movie and that the title is still subjective to change. Well, at least it is not a reboot. The past Ring films were uniquely scary in their own time and although it would be interesting to see how will Japan upgrade the scares, they decided not to. Luckily Japan isn't that crazy about making reboots unlike Hollywood. Spin-off movie? why not. Seeing the films synopsis, there is a more sinister power behind the resurfacing of the curse of Sadako, the question is will he have the same tragic story that drove him to extreme ends to creating chaos through Sadako's curse? That is what I am looking forward to with this film. No, I am not looking forward to its US adaptation but for the subtitled version if ever it gets an international theatrical release or even in home video format. And Sadako 3D? Well, I think it is a lame title as well. They can improve it by omitting the 3D and just going with plain old Sadako, although Ring: Sadako's Curse would probably have a nicer tone to it, but that's just me. Will the scares be elevated by incorporating 3-D, that is what will everyone find out once it gets released in spooktacular 3-D.
Generally fans of the Ring are pretty much hyped about this Japanese film. Hopefully seeing the international reception, the people behind it would release this internationally, but knowing the internet and devoted fans this will definitely be available in some definite time in the not so near future. Sadako 3D trailer has its creepy moments and some really cliche but still creepy parts present in a typical Asian horror movie, something that I personally adore.

A film that completely summarizes what will people potentially do if ever they know the exact scientific time when the world will end. Just by the trailer alone, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World will poke fun of potential scenarios of what will people do weeks or days just before the end of the world.
I can't help but to smile on the Seeking a Friend for the End of the World movie trailer. it somehow gives this feel good vibe to it. Amidst all of the chaos and stress bought by knowing the time of when will the world ends, two people might just find the right kind of love that they need all along. 7500 is a 2012 horror film under the direction of Takashi Shimizu, the creator of the the Japanese horror film series Ju-on which was later adapted by Hollywood and Americanized to be The Grudge horror film series. Almost every idea and concept nowadays has either been taken or made already. The real challenge to every producers, directors and writers is to come up with something fresh even if it is under such said category. Seeing this airline thriller might remind you of a few films under the same set up like Snakes on the Plane, Red Eye, The Horror at 37000 Feet, The Twilight Zone movie, past action films with an airplane/airline as its main setting. So what does 7500 has in store for us, well it might be something good but chances are that it could also be bad.
There has been a great decline in quality Hollywood horror movies in the past decade or two and as a horror film fan it was quite a disappointment. Luckily, we have a great alternative, Asian horror movies. The original Japanese version of The Ring followed by Ju-On (The Grudge) were the first two Asian horror films that both entertained and scared the hell out of me. So when I heard that the creator of the Ju-On series was directing this airline thriller my hopes were raised a bit, but still the writer is still a US based one. I am not against a US writer, heck some of my most beloved horror film titles were written by good American writers, but there can be quite a handful of movie writers in the horror film genre who really sucked at providing a scary and convincing horror story. Hopefully, the creative input of the Japanese director could help save a potentially bad horror writing for the film. As a horror film fan, I've seen it all. Hopefully there is more to this film than just all passengers already dead and the entire film is about them being in limbo. Hopefully there is more to 7500. Categorized more as a supernatural thriller, my biggest question to 7500 is what is its difference with a straightforward horror title? On the bright side, the trailer didn't say much and it somehow added to the mystery of what could be this supernatural force to flight 7500's crew and passengers?

Besides being the home for the annual National Football League championships, the Super Bowl is also the prefect venue to market any kind of product. This is where The Avengers made its 30-minute TV Spot debut and was later extended to a full 60 minutes film trailer with the inclusion of a very kick ass trailer finale. Right from the start I will say that The Avengers trailer is freaking awesome.
We finally know what Loki's role in the Avengers film as a leader of an invading alien force. No its not the Skrulls like what I also first assumed back at Captain America. The trailer feature a quick shot of the descending alien forces that Loki might probably lead which looks like Ultron-like robots but there aren't any official confirmation for this. Guess we'll just have to wait for the official full trailer or a much more detailed press release, or we can always just go crazy with waiting and watch it when the film actually hits the theaters.
I noticed some shots of Iron Man and I think the film would feature a new suit, the one shown when he fly up to the alien ship. Then we have Chris Hemsworth's (Thor) toned down body which doesn't look as good as when he was in the Thor movie. I personally am not a big fan of Captain America's new suit though, but guess it is just a little nitpicking on the much awaited super hero film of 2012. We finally have some more action shots of Black Widow and Hawkeye which is okay. I just hope that the film would feature a little more character build up and screen time for Hawkeye and Black Widow. We already have movies movies about most of the Avengers except for the two, (three if you count Nick Fury). I know Hawkeye is not the most popular Avenger, but he is still an integral member of the super hero team. For someone who doesn't know much or read any of Hawkeye's story (comics), I guess a future film about him would be my fix. What is not there to say about The Avengers trailer. It is action packed, kick-ass moments and seemingly superb character interactions.
